A fresh coat...

This memorial day weekend we spent at home...painting! We are getting ready for new flooring so we wanted to get our painting done before the new floors were in. We painted for 3 days!!! We are exhausted but we love the finished result! In the kitchen we chose a very pale green (almost tan with a hint of green) and for the living room and front hallways we went with a neutral taupe. When the house was built the builders put a very boring tan color in flat paint in every room. It was impossible to clean so the walls always looked dirty! Now, we have all new satin, CLEAN, paint that is washable!! A must have with 3 kids!!!

Here is a picture of the kitchen from the front door. It's really hard to see the green tint in the picture though. But I still think it looks good!
