Van Makeover

My van got a makeover this last weekend. As John says, we are now a moving billboard :) My phone blew out the white on my logo, but in the box it is an 'OC'.

Oliva Carlson Photography has been given a makeover!! My friend, and fellow photog, Chelsea, helped me design a new logo. I gave her my ideas on what I was wanting and she put it together for me. I have also changed my website and my blog! I am so happy with it. Please take a few minutes and check it all out!!! I am very proud. I can't believe I've been doing this for a year already. Here are a few pictures I took of the kids one very hot morning in Utica Square. I am planning on taking them again when the weather cools down.

Newborn Session

A couple weeks ago I shot a newborn session for a friend. It was so much fun but I was so nervous! I am my hardest critic and I was particularly hard on myself this day! Mom and baby did wonderful though! We will be doing a second shoot this coming week so hopefully I won't be as nervous!!

Senior Session

I got an amazing opportunity last night to go with my friend Kristen and follow her on a senior session. I had so much fun!! I was trying so hard to stay out of the way, but I did manage to get a few good shots!

My class starts in less than 2 weeks!!! I am counting down the days!!

Kylia's Prom

Well, I am finally done with the pictures! It was a lot of work but I enjoyed every minute of it (well, almost!!). Here are the final pictures! If you would like some let me know. I can have them printed. I can also send you them on a cd. I'm not sure how they will turn out if I email them to you (may mess with the resolution). I haven't looked at print prices yet but will check on it.

Learning Photoshop

I had my first lesson today on Photoshop Elements 7!! I have only learned a few simple steps, nothing fancy yet, but here are the results!! I absolutely love the photos.
