Easter Egg Drop

Kylee, Cody, and I went to the Easter Egg Helicopter Drop this afternoon while Megan and John were at Megans soccer game. The park was full of kids!! They had 4 different age groups set up about 5 minutes apart. Cody was in the 2yrs and younger group. For this group, they had already scattered eggs along the ground and just let the kids run at the sound of the horn and "find" as many as they could. Cody ended up with 3 :( It was so crowded and not enough eggs for as many kids. When the horn sounded, Cody looked at me like what they heck are they doing mom?! He wasn't really into the egg hunting!

For the older groups, a helicopter flew overhead and dropped thousands of eggs! It was really neat and the kids loved seeing the helicopter flying that close! I believe the helicopter dropped over 10,000 eggs for the 3 groups! Kylee came out with 3 :( As always, there were pushy and rude kids! Kylee and Cody both had a lot of fun though seeing the helicopter! As we were leaving we also found a family of ducks swimming in the stream by the park! It was a fun time!
