Spring is here!

I have been so busy lately, but I PROMISE there are new posts and pictures coming soon! In the meantime...here are some fun pics we took at Woodward park in Tulsa last Sunday. We grabbed some sandwiches from Bill & Ruths and fountain drinks from QT and had a fun little picnic! The silly ones at the bottom were taken with my new fisheye lens I got for my bday!!!!

Splish Splash...

The downstairs guest/kids bathroom makeover is all done!! I love this room. As soon as you walk into it you just smile. It's just bright and fun. My favorite make over so far! *since these pictures the kids each got new towels that match the color of their picture frame and I have my eye on a new shower curtain (waiting for that sale!)

To Kansas We Go.....

St Patty's day the kids and I traveled back to KS to take Annie in for surgery to remove the stone that was in her bladder. We found out about a month after adopting her that she had a very large stone in her bladder that was causing her a lot of pain and also a bad infection. We gave her antibiotics, which got rid of the infection, but even on the special diet the stone was way to large to dissolve. So it was surgically removed. She did very well and is recovering very quickly. She was out by 2:30pm the same day and is already walking around and seems to be feeling much better. Check out the picture of the stone. It was so big! Poor Annie is only 10lbs and if you can imagine that big stone in her bladder :( It was taking up most of her small bladder. We are so happy that we found her and were able to help her get rid of this. I think if we wouldn't have found her when we did she probably wouldn't be here today. She's definitely found a place in our hearts and home.

The kids had a great time out at Grandma and Papa's house. The weather was in the 70's. A bit windy but it was nice. They blew bubbles, played with Tip, Sassy, and Lady (Grandma & Papa's dogs), visited my horse Cody (again, neither him nor our son Cody are named after one another! Just a coincidence!), and played in the field. They had a great time. We are planning another trip to KS, this time with daddy, in July for the holiday.

Spring Soccer Kickoff

Megan had her first soccer game of the spring 2010 season saturday. They all did very well and played so hard. They did not win, but they did a very good job. Their team looks like they will do well this year. They have a few new ones that have not played before, but watching them play saturday, you would have never known! Here are a few pictures from their game.

Trip to the park

This week the weather has been so nice. Today is absolutely gorgeous! The sun is shining, 70 degrees, a little windy, but beautiful. Cody and I had a little sandwich (& cookie!) picnic at the park this afternoon. It was so nice to eat outside with the sun shining on our backs. After lunch we played on the playground, watched the geese, and met some new friends. A perfect afternoon!

Cody said he would "Blow the wind away for us!"

Did I do this?

This happens quite often...I walk into Cody's room and find this! I often wonder...did I do this? Do I push my kids to be clean and organized too much? LOL. I guess it could be good and bad. And although it makes me worry a tad bit that he may grow to be a little OCD like his mom (and yes, his dad too!), it still puts a big smile on my face!
